On October 18, the Fund to Support Cancer Patients - Bright Tomorrow (Ministry of Health) and partner units, including Viet Nhat Clinic, launched a communication campaign and medical examination. The communication program on breast cancer screening, and early detection is organized annually by the Fund for Cancer Patients - Bright Tomorrow since 2013 in October every year.

This year's program will deploy a series of nationwide activities, to call on the community to raise awareness of women's health protection, especially the habit of screening to detect diseases at the earliest.

Every woman participating in the program will be given free medical check-ups and screenings, including clinical examination, ultrasound, and on-site mammography for suspected cases with our mobile medical examination vehicle system. Viet Nhat Clinic, under Japan Vietnam Medical Investment And Development JSC.

This is a mobile Mammo examination vehicle system equipped with a modern imaging system, including an Ultrasound machine and a Mammo Planmed Sophie Classic X-ray machine, using PACS software that can connect and push captured images immediately to the server system at hospitals/clinics, which simplifies and shortens examination time and returns results to patients.

At the launching ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen said that breast cancer is the most common cancer found in women over the world and Vietnamese women. Breast cancer is completely curable if detected early. Screening and early detection of breast cancer are important, the earlier the detection, the simpler and more effective the treatment, and lowering the treatment cost.

Deputy Health Minister Do Xuan Tuyen called on the community to join hands to fight breast cancer. Enterprises and organizations need to include the cancer screening program in general and breast cancer in particular for women turning 40 years old in regular health check-up programs to move towards a healthy Vietnam with no one dying from breast cancer.

At the event, the Foundation announced the launch of the book "The Story of the Pink Bow." Which is a collection of the stories of women - pink warriors who were strong, resilient, and defeated cancer and diseases. In addition, the book's introduction aims to help readers equip themselves with useful knowledge to prevent disease and strongly face breast cancer, and overcome challenges in the treatment process to integrate it into daily life.

The media campaign launched by the Bright Tomorrow Foundation is an annual event that has gained a lot of reputation in recent years. The campaign works with hospitals, medical units, and propaganda agencies to help women listen, take care of themselves, and proactively screen for early detection of breast cancer.
