As part of the Prevention and Control of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Asthma project (COPD-A), on September 22, 2022, At Bach Mai Hospital, the opening ceremony of a non-invasive ventilatory training course in the treatment of obstructive disease was held.

Participating in training with experts and doctors from Bach Mai Hospital, there were also representatives of Japan Vietnam Medical Investment And Development Joint Stock Company (JVC) with theoretical and practical training sessions operated directly on Nihon Kohden NKV-330 dedicated non-intrusion ventilator, originating from Japan. This is a modern machine with outstanding features such as:

• The most optimal resuscitation ventilator solution for NIV breathing
• Automatically triggers breathing on demand, large air leak compensation
• Integrated HFNC. high-flow oxygen breathing
• Patient safety with HEPA air filter, apnea prevention

According to the plan, the project of Prevention and Control of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Asthma - Bach Mai Hospital will have training classes on non-invasive ventilation in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease for medical staff at the hospital in 63 provinces/cities from September 22, 2022, to the end of October 21, 2022.
