Since its establishment in 1958, undergoing years of difficulties along wih long history of our country, until now, the Department has become the reputable leading center for diagnosis and intervention in radiology, gaining great appreciation by friends and colleagues in the country and around the world.
To gain such achievements, the Center has always focused on its main pillars including high quality human resources, modernized equipment, high technology research and application, training and technical transfer from reputable partners. Among those is JVC, which, with its considerable experience and proven capabilities, has been selected as the Center’s partner to implement the medical socialization project since 2014 with 2 Hitachi SCENARIA View 128-slice CT scanners and 1 Echelon Smart 1.5T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine provided. Possessing advanced technology and modern functions, various advanced applications, the CT scanning and MRI system provided to Radiology Center by JVC have effectively assisted physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Hitachi's Echelon Smart 1.5T MRI system is being put into use by Radiology Center as part of the medical socialization project in cooperation with JVC.
Especially, Radiology Center is also considered an excellent model for many provincial and district hospitals and units to learn from. This is a training destination on imaging diagnosis for many physicians from other universities and hospitals.
