On the afternoon of September 10, 2019, the annual meeting of Hitachi Healthcare Japan and JVC took place with encouraging results at JVC's head office in Hanoi. Also in this event, the two parties reviewed the achievements in recent years, and set out business strategies for the financial year 2019.  

Hitachi’s representatives attending the event included Mr. Takuya Maeda - Director of International Business Division cum Deputy General Director of Image Diagnostic Division of Hitachi Healthcare Japan, Mr. Noritomo Koike - Director of Marketing Division cum Deputy General Director of Hitachi Healthcare Japan, and Mr. Anil John - Managing Director of Hitachi Medical Singapore. Representatives of JVC included Ms. Vu Thi Thuy Hang, CEO, Ms. Vuong Van Anh - Deputy CEO, Mr. Quan Han Vuong - Deputy CEO, Ms. Vu Thi Thuy Ha - CEO Assistant and Ms. Duong Thi Thanh Huyen - Market Development Director. 

The meeting took place in an open and cooperative atmosphere with encouraging results. Overall, Hitachi still considers Vietnam a potential market and wishes to be able to continue expanding its market share in Vietnam in the future. At the same time, Hitachi also gave positive compliments to JVC - a long-term partner with many outstanding achievements in Asia. This result was partly attributed to the success of two outstanding projects in 2018 that JVC implemented, the NORRED project (providing CT scanning system for 14 hospitals in the Northeastern provinces and Red River Delta, funded by World Bank) and JICA-sponsored project (providing MRI system of Echelon Smart 1.5 Tesla to Bac Giang Provincial General Hospital, sponsored by Japan International Cooperation Agency - JICA). 

In addition to successes, the difficulties that JVC has encountered were also raised, together with some effective solutions proposed, which were highly recognized and agreed by Hitachi. Once again, Hitachi reassured that they would continue to work closely to support JVC expanding its market share in Vietnam. During the annual meeting, the two parties drafted a business collaboration strategy for the financial year 2019.
