On the afternoon of March 20, Thai Binh General Hospital successfully hosted the workshop titled “Updates in 3.0 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Techniques and Their Applications in Diagnosis and Treatment,” with the participation and support of Vietnam Medical and Pharmaceutical Investment Joint Stock Company (VMPI).
The workshop was attended by Distinguished Physician Specialist Level II Ha Trung Kien, Director of the Hospital; Associate Professor Dr. Doan Tien Luu, Deputy Director of the Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology at Hanoi Medical University Hospital; Mr. Vu Van Toan, Chief Executive Officer of VMPI; along with members of the hospital’s Board of Management, Scientific and Technical Council, and a large number of medical professionals.
During the program, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luat, Senior Product Specialist from United Imaging, introduced the 3.0 Tesla MRI system uMR 780. The system is equipped with advanced superconducting magnet technology, ensuring high magnetic field homogeneity to deliver high-resolution images, enabling early detection of small lesions. Notably, the integrated uAIFI artificial intelligence platform helps shorten scan times, optimize operational efficiency, and enhance patient experience.
VMPI’s partnership in the workshop reflects its ongoing commitment to bringing advanced medical technologies and techniques to Vietnam, thereby contributing to the improvement of diagnostic accuracy and treatment quality across healthcare facilities.
